Meet Brittany, The Founder

I’m a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and Licensed Massage Therapist with a deep interest in the many layers that shape human behavior.

My work has taught me that behavior rarely exists in isolation. It is shaped by our environments, experiences, bodies, relationships, learning histories, and the lives we are actually living.

I bring more than a decade of experience in the behavioral health field, working with children, adolescents, and adults across home, school, community, residential, and clinical settings. My clinical experience includes behavioral assessment and intervention, communication, executive functioning, adaptive and independent living skills, social and relationship skills, caregiver and staff consultation, and supporting individuals through meaningful life transitions.

My work has also taken me beyond traditional behavior analysis. As a Licensed Massage Therapist, I’ve developed a deeper appreciation for the body as part of our lived experience. I’ve continued that exploration through education and training in somatic practices, yoga, breathwork, nervous system regulation, movement, and other embodied approaches.

Those experiences have shaped the way I think about behavior. I’m interested not only in what someone is doing, but in the context surrounding it. What happened before? What does the behavior accomplish? What has the person learned from their environment and experiences? What makes something easier or harder? And what changes when we begin paying attention to the body, too?

For me, behavior science and embodiment don’t have to exist in separate worlds. Behavior science gives us a way to understand our patterns. Embodiment gives us another way to experience and explore them.

I created Somatic Behavior Goddess to bring those worlds together and make behavior science feel more human, accessible, and alive.
